Job Title: Chronic Pain Physician
Location: Gillette, WY
Shift: Mon - Fri (8AM - 5PM)
Sign-on & Relocation: $150,000
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients with chronic pain conditions, utilizing medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
- Diagnose the source and cause of chronic pain and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Prescribe and manage medications to alleviate pain, monitor for side effects, and adjust regimens as needed.
- Perform interventional procedures, including nerve blocks and epidural injections, to manage pain effectively.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons, physical therapists, and psychologists, to provide comprehensive care.
- Educate patients about their pain condition, treatment options, and self-management techniques.
Requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Pain Medicine or a related specialty.
- State medical license and DEA registration.
- Completion of a pain management fellowship program.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
