The OR-Surgery Department has 10 OR's with service lines that include Ortho, Urology, OB/GYN, General Surgery, Plastics, ENT, Neuro and Podiatry.
How you'll contribute
A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:
The RN performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
Establishes a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient according to his or her capabilities and desires.
Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.

What we're looking for
Applicants should have a current Arizona or Compact State RN license and possess an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred
Minimum of 1 year ICU experience preferred
Certification: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required upon hire
Certification: Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire (unless employee already has ACLS)
Handle with care required within 30 days of orientation and annually thereafter
Must pass a rhythm recognition test within 90 days of hire.
Certification: TNCC required within 6 months of hire
Certification: PALS required within 1 year of hire
