Pharmacist - Pharmacist Inpatient
Job Details:
• Work week nights from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM and weekend nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Must have a PharmD degree
• Licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of North Carolina required
• Epic charting system experience required
• At least one (1) year of experience required
• Prior experience with pharmacist to dose protocols preferred
• Provide excellent customer service to healthcare teammates over phone or in person
• Verify medication orders and review for patient allergies, drug interactions, and appropriate therapy
• Verify home medications against medication reconciliation reports
• Utilize pharmacist to dose consults and consult with physicians, residents, and healthcare team members
• Check IV admixtures for accuracy and patient safety in accordance with USP 797/800 guidelines
• Must reside more than 40 miles from facility (local rules apply)
• May float within hospital as needed
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications preferred (must be AHA certified)
• References required for submission
