This locum tenens position requires a board-certified or board-eligible Radiation Oncologist to provide clinical care at a Level II trauma center in Illinois, managing 35-50 adult patients daily. The role involves delivering advanced radiation therapy treatments including 3D, IMRT, SBRT/SRS, and participating in consultations and follow-ups, with a standard Monday to Friday schedule and potential on-call duties. Candidates must have an active IL medical license or IMLC LOQ, complete onsite orientation, and have prior experience with EPIC EMR systems.
Coverage Needed ASAP - ongoing Schedule M-F 8a-5p with some potential call depending on dates confirmed 40 hrs/week Clinical Details 100% adult Level II trauma center Avg of 35-50 patients on treatment daily Requirements Locum must be able to attend an onsite orientation on a weekday prior to first assignment (typically set for 7:30a-5p), which would include a physical, drug screening, immunization review, administrative paperwork and EPIC Training. Already active IL license is highly preferred, IMLC LOQ already in hand may be considered Proof of COVID vaccine Board certified/board eligible in radiation oncology; MD or DO Availability per request 2 references per Stratum process Clean and easy to credential candidates - highly preferred Procedures required:- 3D treatment, IMRT, SBRT/SRS treatments, Simulations, Consults, follow-ups, OTVs Call TBD Support Staff 2 RNs, 5 radiation therapist, 1 dosimetrist, 1 physicist, 2 front desk team members, 1 physician EMR Epic
