Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery and Med Surg position on night shift, requiring independent OB management and a KS or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Position mixes 20% Labor & Delivery and 80% Med Surg patient care
• Nurse is the primary caregiver for all Labor & Delivery patients, including OB surgeries
• Majority of patient care responsibilities will be on a Med Surg unit
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-07:00)
• No call required
• Local candidates are eligible
• Will work alongside non-OB trained nurses who assist at time of delivery
• Nurse must be comfortable providing comprehensive OB care independently
• Will take responsibility for both OB and Med Surg patients within the same shift

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Must be able to manage Labor & Delivery patients and OB surgeries independently from admission through delivery and recovery
• Demonstrated experience as an OB and Med Surg nurse
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required
