We are seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in New York. This 10-day opportunity begins on Jan 2, 2026, and involves a mix of 12-hour day and night shifts. Providers must be flexible, as scheduling will depend on coverage gaps and patient needs.

- Provider Type Needed: Cardiology Nurse Practitioner
- Schedule: 2 positions for 7a-7p and 2 positions for 7p-7a; providers may be moved between shifts based on need
Responsibilities and Duties- Manage inpatient cardiology cases, including admission of patients with cardiac and medical issues, as well as preoperative and postoperative care
- Administer and manage cardiac drips and ventilators
- Care for patients with PEG tubes, chest tubes, and central lines
- Interpret cardiac strips and manage pacemakers
- Perform moderate sedation and bedside procedures
- Deliver patient care in alignment with hospital protocols and standards
Additional Information- Active NY nurse practitioner license required
- Board certification in Cardiology required
- Flexibility to work both day and night shifts is essential
- Experience with cardiac drips, vents, PEG tubes, chest tubes, central lines, reading cardiac strips, moderate sedation, bedside procedures, and pacemakers is required
