RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work in Medical ICU (MICU) with 36 beds
• Patient ratio of 1:2-3
• Days: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule, Nights: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Required certifications: ACLS/BLS
• Must have greater than 2 years experience in ICU level unit
• Float to all ICUs and IMC units
• Work with ventilators, Arctic Sun, rapid infusers, CRRT machines, IV medication pumps, SCD machines, cooling blankets, and glucometers
• Use Meditech documentation system
• Dress code requires navy scrubs
• Direct patient care with no unit secretary or CNA support
• Experience required with vents, high-flow oxygen, BiPAP, CPAP, and IV medications including Levophed, Epinephrine, Insulin, Neo synephrine, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Propofol, Precedex, fentanyl, versed, Amiodarone, Lidocaine, and paralytics
• Advanced skills needed: TTM, hemodynamics, PA catheter
• Procedures performed on unit include intubation, chest tube insertion, bronchoscopy, EGD, colonoscopy, wound debridement, and line insertion
