Ascension St. Agnes is looking for a OB/GYN Physician Assistant for our team!

This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension St. Agnes Hospital to provide medical services to patients.

Position Highlights:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 3 months of hire.
• DEA and CDS required to start

Responsibilities:

Provide direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services under the supervision
of a physician.

• Obtain patient history and perform assessment.
• Order, perform and interpret diagnostic procedures.
• Provide and document direct treatment and management of health conditions.
• Provide counseling and education of patient and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.
• Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and care.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted required. Verified by local credentialing office.
• Physician Assistant credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Verified by local Credentialing Office
• Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted preferred. Verified by local credentialing office.

Education:

• Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. Master's degree preferred.

Work Experience:

• 1 year of experience preferred.
