Our job summary

This position is for a Board Certified or Board Eligible General Medicine Physician to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for veterans, primarily on an as-needed basis in Delaware. The role involves evaluating respiratory, cardiovascular, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions, completing standardized Disability Benefits Questionnaires within 48 hours, and requires DMA certification. Providers must have an active Delaware license, reside within 50 miles of the site, and be willing to travel to complete exams at facilities or within their own practice.

Coverage NeededASAP - OngoingSeeking General Medicine Providers to work with Veterans performing Compensation & Pension exams + Separation Health Assessments across the country. Block-time availability is preferred but willing to accept providers with sporadic availability - will be on an as-needed basis.ScheduleDay Shifts. Full day (5 hours or Longer) or Half Days (4 hours or less)As-Needed BasisNot a set schedule. Some providers work 9am " 5pm, 12pm " 4pm, 8am " 5pm, etc Clinical DetailsOne-Time non-treatment C&P exams + separation health assessmentsTravel to facility to complete exam or perform exam within own practice - within 50 miles All patients are VeteransNo prescribing, no treatmentDuties: Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions, DBQsTraining shall be provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs)Reporting/DBQs must be submitted within 48 hours upon exam completion - no narrative report.
