Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Mother Baby unit in Austell, GA. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality postpartum care to mothers and newborns while supporting families during the recovery and transition period.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns
- Perform newborn assessments, vital signs, and screenings
- Assist with breastfeeding education and maternal support
- Monitor patient recovery following delivery
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Collaborate with physicians, lactation consultants, and care teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or Compact)
- Mother Baby / Postpartum experience preferred
- Current BLS certification (NRP preferred)
- Strong communication and patient-education skills
- Compassionate, family-centered approach to care
