Job Overview

• Position: Locum Tenens Radiologist
• Location: Near Midland, North Carolina
• Start Date: January 6, 2025
• Contract Length: Ongoing
• Coverage: Full-time, scheduled coverage with no on-call requirement
• Patient Population: Primarily adults and geriatric patients

Responsibilities

• Specializations Needed: General Radiology, Musculoskeletal (MSK), Body Imaging, and Neuro Imaging
• Radiology Shifts Available:
  • 12a-8a (Monday-Sunday)
  • 8a-5p (Monday-Sunday)
  • 12p-8p (Monday-Sunday)
  • 5p-1a (Monday-Sunday)
• Daily Tasks: Interpret diagnostic imaging studies, including IR, Mammography, Fluoroscopy, and general radiology procedures.
• EMR & PACS: Utilize EPIC, Meditech, Change Healthcare, Intelerad, and PowerScribe One for efficient documentation and reporting.

Requirements

• Board Certification: Required in Radiology
• State License: Must hold or be willing to obtain a North Carolina state license; IMLC candidates welcome.
• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 4-6 weeks for completion
• Experience: Experience in a trauma Level I or Level II facility is beneficial but not mandatory.
