Seeking a Board Certified Family Medicine physician with 5+ years of outpatient primary care experience to join a new full-time, hospital-employed practice in Oswego, NY starting in late summer or early fall 2026. The role involves managing chronic diseases, adult and pediatric care without OB services, supervising advanced practice clinicians, and working a 40-hour week with light call responsibilities. Family Medicine opening in New YorkLocated in Oswego, NYFull-Time & PermanentSeeking a BE/BC Family Medicine doctor to join a new practice opening in late summer or early fall of 2026.
- Office open Monday-Friday, 7:00a-5:00p; 40-hours per week; group is open to 4 or 5 days a week
- Hospital employed; full medical staff hospital privileges.
- 3-year employment agreement with guaranteed base salary for length of contract
- Not a J1 eligible position due to clinic location in Onondaga County
- Board Certified with 5+ years-experience in outpatient Primary Care setting
- Comfortable supervising Advanced Practice Clinicians (anticipate 2-APC s)
- Anticipated high volume practice: volume: 20-25 ppd (8-hour day) or 25-30 ppd (10-hour day)
- Good payor mix: Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, sliding scale
- Experienced office staff: RN, MA and triage staff
- Call is shared among anticipated 26-providers and is very light, phone only; no rounding or inpatient services required however if a family practice provider is interested in hospitalist shifts, this can be arranged on a per diem basis
- Family practice: chronic disease management, adult medicine, well child visits, hypertension, diabetes, etc.; there is no OB, some GYN; no sports medicine
