Home Health RN Job Details

• Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse – Home Health
• Location: Romney, West Virginia (WV) – 26757
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: January 12, 2026 – End: April 13, 2026)
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours (Guaranteed 36 hours/week)
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday (8 Hour Days)
• Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd Weekend
• On-Call Requirement: None
• Patient Ratio: Approximately 25 adult/geriatric patients per week
• EMR: EPIC electronic medical records
• Dress Code: Black scrubs

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of home health nursing experience as a Registered Nurse
• Active RN license in West Virginia or Compact State
• BLS certification (AHA required)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Experience with adult and geriatric patient care preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Home Health RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in their homes
• Perform patient assessments and create individualized care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team (PT, OT, SLP, HH tech, SW) for comprehensive patient support
• Document patient care and progress using EPIC EMR system
• Educate patients and families on health management and homecare procedures
• Participate in weekend rotation (every 3rd weekend)
