JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: Active Pennsylvania medical license required; IMLC accepted
• Board: Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• DEA: Active DEA required
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
• Experience: Prior inpatient gastroenterology experience preferred
• Other Qualifications: Ability to move quickly through emergency credentialing

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide 24-hour gastroenterology call coverage
• Perform inpatient consults and manage acute GI conditions
• Conduct emergent procedures as clinically indicated
• Collaborate with anesthesia and hospital support teams
• Document all patient encounters accurately in Cerner EMR
