Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring EP and/or cath lab competencies and call/weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cath Lab of an acute care hospital
• Day shifts, four 10-hour shifts per week, 7:00 to 17:30
• Call and weekend shifts required
• Possible holiday work may be required
• Use of EPIC EMR system is preferred
• Duties include assisting with and monitoring cath lab and electrophysiology procedures
• Participation in call rotation and weekend scheduling is required
• Only individual travelers will be considered; travel pairs or groups are not accepted
• No more than 3 days of requested time off (RTO) will be auto-approved
• No RTO is allowed during the first week of orientation

Requirements

• Active Oklahoma or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• 1-2 years of Cath Lab or EP experience required
• Competency in EP and/or cath lab procedures required
• Previous experience with EPIC EMR preferred
• Former permanent staff must have had a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
