What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences at the location.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required for incident response and/or escalation.
Remain alert and aware of surroundings to help to deter potential threats to the premises, personnel, and visitors.
Follow all company protocols and client site instructions regarding the carrying and use of firearms while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
