Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position working night shifts in a combination medical surgical unit, requiring a valid AR or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a combination Medical Surgical unit
- Hospital setting caring for a diverse adult medical and surgical patient population
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract assignment
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical and surgical patients
- Team-based work environment in a community hospital setting
- Specific testing, forms, and checklist requirements will be disclosed during onboarding
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
Requirements
- Active AR or compact state RN license required
- Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant RN experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
- RQI certifications are not accepted
- Social Security number and date of birth are required for consideration
- COVID vaccination card required
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Permanent address must be more than 60 miles from the assignment location
- Candidate may not be employed full time elsewhere
