A Board Certified Physiatrist is sought to serve as Medical Director for a 21-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit focused on adult patients. The role includes weekday work hours with shared evening and weekend call responsibilities, providing care for patients recovering from various conditions. Seeking a Board Certified Physiatrist to serve as the Medical Director of an inpatient rehab care unit. This 21-bed unit, featuring all private rooms, is located near the hospital. The unit operates Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. The call schedule includes evenings and 1:3 weekend coverage, shared with locum Physiatrists. The unit serves patients aged 18 and older, with an average length of stay of 11 days. Weekend volumes include rounding on 3-5 patients with 2-3 admissions.
Hospital Employee, Inpatient only. Assigned Call with 1:3 Call Ratio. 75th percentile MGMA Income Guarantee. Loan Forgiveness available. Signing Bonus available, contact us for details. Relocation Bonus available. CME up to 1 week and $5,000 available. Up to 6 weeks of PTO available. 403B with employer match up to 2%.
