Contract: 13 weeks | Start: ASAP Radius Rule: Must live 50+ miles from facility Guaranteed Hours: 36/week (not guaranteed during orientation week) Shifts: 12-hour shifts, Days/Nights variable Weekends: Every other to every third Holidays: Every other, as applicable On-Call: Possible during low census (on-call pay + callback pay if called in) Floating: Must float to Aspirus Merrill, Wausau, Medford, and Stanley Experience & Requirements: 2+ years Med Surg experience WI RN License, BLS, ACLS required Tele interpretation skills highly preferred Prior travel experience preferred Charting: Epic preferred Strong assessment skills required Unit Details: 16-bed unit Ratios: Days: 1:4–5 PMs: 1:5–6 Nights: 1:6–7 Staffing: 3 RNs (days), 3 RNs (PMs), 2 RNs (nights) Scrubs: Any color Low Census Policy: Contract eligible for 36 hours unbillable low census Travelers may be placed on call during low census hours Additional Notes: GSA hours not guaranteed during orientation or when unit is closed for holidays During flu season, travelers declining flu/COVID vaccines must wear a mask at all times (Aspirus policy)
