Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex
• Work in both stepdown and medical/surgical units (both required)
• Care for oncology and chemotherapy patients with required experience
• ONS/ONCC certification required (may accept fundamentals certification)
• Assume responsibility for assigned group of patients
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and medical treatments
• Assist physicians in examinations and diagnostic procedures
• Monitor physiological data and intervene when necessary
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products
• Interact with patients and families regarding care plans and discharge planning
• Delegate tasks to support staff
• 1 year of nursing experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required
• Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License required
• Required certifications: Basic Life Support (AHA) and ACLS (AHA)
• Good verbal and written communication skills required
• Computer skills necessary
