The Oncology - Radiation Physician provides specialized radiation treatment to cancer patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings, managing 10-15 patients per shift and responding to emergency calls within 30 minutes. The role requires board certification in Radiation Oncology, a Michigan medical license, and preferred fellowship training, with responsibilities including scheduled clinic hours and night call duties. The position utilizes EMR systems such as Athena and Cerner in a Trauma Level 2 hospital environment.
- Scheduled Clinic Hours + Call (Beeper Call)
- Dates: 2/11 orientation 8a-4p, 2/12 & 2/13 regular 7a-4p, 2/16-21 7a-4p reg, 4p-7a call
- EMR System: Athena and Cerner
- Outpatient and Inpatient
- Patients per Shift: 10-15
- Trauma Level: 2
- Call Response Time Required: 30 Min
- Requirements: ACLS, Fellowship Preferred, Board Certified Required in Radiation Oncology, MI license
