Job DescriptionThe Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by ensuring the nursing care plan is followed, supervising Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees. A focus on patient and employee safety is essential.
Responsibilities- Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission.
- Develop individualized plans of care based on assessment data.
- Provide patient education and initiate discharge planning from the day of admission.
- Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely.
- Communicate changes in patient status to care providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Supervise and provide direction to ancillary nursing personnel.
- Identify and report workplace hazards to maintain a safe environment.
- Participate in team building activities to foster a positive work environment.
- Assume charge responsibility as requested after orientation.
- BLS Certification Required Prior to First Shift.
- ACLS Required Prior to First Shift (CIRH ONLY).
- Minimum two (2) years of bedside clinical experience preferred.
