Seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist for inpatient hospital and STEMI coverage. This is a locum tenens assignment to help address an ongoing shortage of interventional coverage, with 1 week per month commitment.

• Specialty: Interventional Cardiology

• Setting: 100% inpatient (Adult & Geriatric 50/50 split)

• Patient Census: patients/day

• Admissions/Discharges: Varies, 2 8/day

• Patient LOS: 2 4 days

• Call Coverage: 24-hour STEMI call, 7 nights/week

• Weekend Coverage: 1 weekend/month

• STEMI Volume: Low ( 15 per quarter / 0 4 per week)

• H&Ps: Performed by APCs with provider oversight

• EMR: EPIC (training provided)

• Shifts: 24-hour STEMI call, 7 consecutive days/month

• Duration: Ongoing monthly assignment

• Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology REQUIRED

• BLS, ACLS, ATLS REQUIRED

• Active Virginia License REQUIRED (No IMLC accepted)
