Job Title: Locum Tenens Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Coverage

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) provider to offer locum tenens coverage, starting from September 1st. This is a critical need situation that requires coverage for 20 days each month, encompassing two weekends. The call shifts run from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM, and while the provider is not required to remain on-site, they must be able to arrive at the hospital within 30 minutes of receiving a call.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Attending to labor and delivery of patients.
- Managing post-surgical complications.
- Reviewing, as necessary, triage OB patients.
- Conducting rounds for patients on the OB/GYN floor, regardless of the provider who initially managed the OB patient.
- Patient volume varies by month, with no more than 5 patients on the floor at any given time. On average, the hospital sees 15-20 deliveries per month.
- The average call-back hours are minimal within a 24-hour call shift.
