Hematology/Oncology Locum Opportunity Near Las Vegas, Nevada

Coverage Needed:

• Start Date: As soon as credentialed - Long Term Assignment through September 2026

• Schedule: Variable start/end times, typically 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)

• Shift Length: 8-hour day with administrative time included in schedule

• Setting: Clinic-based, with rare travel to up to 2 sites

• Potential for hospital coverage as needed

• Clinical Details:

• Focus on Medical Oncology - new and follow-up visits, writing treatment orders, covering infusion space

• Average patient volume: 4 new consults and 12-14 follow-ups per day

• Patient Population: Adults (18+)

• EMR: Epic (Beacon experience preferred)

• Support Staff Includes:

  • RN Navigators & Infusion Nurses, Medical Assistants, Social Workers, Check-in/Check-out team, Referral Coordinators, Pharmacists

  • Requirements:

  • Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology

  • Nevada Medical License (or ability to obtain)

  • CSA and DEA certifications required

  • Preferred experience in ambulatory/clinic-based settings

  • Epic Beacon experience a plus
