How you'll contribute
A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:
- Provides direct patient care using the nursing process, specializing in wound care for both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Develops individualized care plans, maintains clinical competencies, performs transcutaneous oxygen monitoring, and assists with wound debridement and dressing changes.
- Accurately documents care, advocates for patient well-being, and performs additional duties as assigned by the Medical Director of Wound Care/HBO, the Wound Care/HBO Coordinator, the Director of Pulmonary Services, or their designee.

What we're looking for
The right person who will conduct focused wound assessment. Uses wound dressings per formulary. Collects wound cultures per policy.
Applicants must have graduated from a school of professional nursg. Additional requirements include:
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse from the Virginia State Board of Nursing or compact state.
Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association is required.
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse from the Virginia State Board of Nursing or compact state.
2 years recent experience with Medical/surgical patients. Wound Care experience preferred.
