Overview:
We are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Psychiatric Medical Director with a proven history in telepsychiatry and psychiatric administration. The ideal candidate will have the skills and vision to lead and expand our psychiatric program while maintaining a strong commitment to clinical care.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Leadership (40%):
- Lead efforts to grow and broaden the reach of our psychiatric services.
- Oversee the development and management of a robust outcomes monitoring system to enhance patient care.
- Improve patient outcomes through evidence-based practice implementation.
- Direct a peer-review program to ensure high standards of care.
- Supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and foster a collaborative work environment.
Clinical Service (60%):
- Provide top-tier psychiatric care, leveraging your expertise in telepsychiatry and in-person consultations.
- Engage directly with patients, diagnosing and managing psychiatric conditions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
Qualifications:
- Board Eligibility/Certification: Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry.
- Telepsychiatry & Administration: Demonstrated experience in telepsychiatry and psychiatric program administration is required.
- Location: Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Greenville, NC area.
