Job DescriptionThe Med/Surg RN will provide comprehensive care to patients in a 34-bed medical/surgical unit with telemetry. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality and patient-centered care.
Responsibilities- Provide patient-centered care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including telemetry readings.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner EMR.
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required.
- WV or Compact RN License required (pending license acceptable).
- Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS are required, with ACLS and BCLS certifications issued through the American Heart Association.
- Previous charge experience is preferred.
