The Opportunity

• Seeking Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center physician assistants and nurse practitioners
• ED/UCC experience preferred.
• New grads with strong emergency or paramedic/EMT experience will be considered.
• Current national certification and DEA are required.
• ACLS and PALS are preferred.
• Current CA state license is a plus.

 

The Practice

Mercy Medical Center – Redding, California

• Level II Regional Trauma Center covering 22,000 sq. miles & 6 counties—20% of California’s landmass.
• Air ambulance service & chest pain ER
• The 30-bed Emergency Department has two trauma bays, isolation and mental health rooms, and 55,000 annual ED patient visits.
• Cardiac Surgery Program rated in the Top 7 in California by Consumer Reports Study
• Recipient of the HealthGrades Emergency Medicine Excellence Award (2011-2012), ranked among the top 5% in the Nation for Emergency Medicine (2011-2012) and a Five-Star Recipient for Emergency Medicine (2011-2012)
