Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift position in Massachusetts with a current MA RN license and ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
- Night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week, starting at 7:00 PM with flexibility for rare staffing needs
- 13-week contract assignment
- Uses Epic EMR (preferred experience)
- Care for a diverse emergency patient population
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced ED environment
- Must not have any prior infractions on nursing license
- Night shift assignment with occasional flexibility based on urgent department needs
- Holiday and weekend coverage may be required as scheduled
- Scrub color or dress code not specified
- References from previous supervisors or managers may be required for employment consideration
Requirements
- Active and current permanent MA RN license required
- Minimum 1.5 years recent Emergency Department RN experience
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
- Pass/fail EKG test required prior to start
- Radius rule: candidates must live at least 200 miles from the facility
