Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med-Surg Ortho/Spine position with EPIC EMR proficiency and a current NY license.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital Med-Surg Ortho/Spine unit
- Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Assignment length is 13 weeks
- Use of Epic EMR is required
- No block scheduling available
- Competency testing required for all MS applicants with less than 2 years of experience; two attempts permitted
- Medical exemptions for flu vaccination must be signed by a licensed professional; no personal or religious exemptions allowed
- Call outs exceeding three during any 13-week period may result in contract termination, and make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks
- Paid time off must be requested during the application process
- Travel pairs are not allowed
- Local candidates from specified counties within a 50-mile radius are not eligible
Requirements
- Active NY RN license required at the time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg Ortho/Spine experience required
- Current BLS certification from AHA or RQI required
- Prior Epic EMR experience is mandatory
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- Only US Social Security Numbers accepted
