Sr. Geotechnical Engineer
We are looking for a driven Sr. Geotechnical Engineer to support the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects across a variety of environments. This role offers the opportunity to develop project engineering skills under the guidance of senior staff, while contributing to geotechnical design, fieldwork, and client reporting. Ideal candidates will have hands-on field experience, technical curiosity, and a strong foundation in engineering principles.
Senior Geotechnical Engineer (PE)
Job Summary: Responsible for managing geotechnical engineering projects, supervising technical staff, and delivering high-quality engineering solutions that meet client, budget, and schedule requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Manage geotechnical investigations, analysis, and reporting
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and staffing plans
- Oversee preparation of technical reports, proposals, and design documents
- Review work for technical accuracy and compliance
- Interface directly with clients and provide project updates
- Supervise and mentor engineering staff
- Seal completed work as a Professional Engineer
- Travel up to 10% as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 8–10+ years of geotechnical engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Project management experience preferred
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GSLOPE, Rocscience, and MS Office
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $105,000–$150,000
