Responsibilities include ICU rounding, performing critical procedures such as laryngoscopy and intubations, supervising residents, fellows, and APPs, and managing critical care patients in a high-acuity environment. - Day Shifts Only
- Regular Hourly Shifts (7am to 7pm)
Candidate Requirements:
- Active ID licensure or IMLC
- Minimum Board Status: Board Certified in Critical Care
- Fellowship Required
- Required Certifications: ACLS, DEA, CSR
- Comfortable performing required procedures listed in job description below
- Must have proof of covid-19 vaccine
Job/Practice Description:
Provider Responsibilities
- Inpatient ICU Rounding/Admitting
- Required Testing/Procedures: Laryngoscopy, Thoracentesis, Intubations
- Required Evaluations and Treatments: Critical Care Conditions
- May be involved in covering/supervising teaching services for residents/fellows
- Will be required to supervise APP
- Provider will not work solo (other physicians and app available for support)
Program/Facility Details:
- Avg ICU patients per day: 25 (on ICU List)
- Avg Admits per day: 5
- Level II Trauma Facility
- Number of Beds: 44 critical care, 22 trauma nsurosery, stroke and medical ICU
- Number of Physicians in Group: 10
- EMR: Epic
- Credentialing Timeframe: Est 60-90 days
- Facility will reimburse for flight, hotel, rental and mileage
Compensation for this opportunity is highly competitive at $300/hr for regular scheduled hours.
