Seeking a full-time Obstetrics & Gynecology physician to provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care at a level III trauma center hospital in Pueblo, Colorado. The role offers a balanced 50/50 split between obstetrics and gynecology within a collaborative team setting, utilizing advanced technology and an EMR system. Candidates must be board certified or eligible, hold or be willing to obtain a Colorado medical license, and have DEA certification prior to starting.
Join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals at a prominent hospital in Pueblo, Colorado. This facility, a level III trauma center founded in 1923, features 350 beds and serves the community with excellence in women's health. The practice consists of a skilled group of OB/GYN physicians and certified nurse midwives, all committed to providing exceptional patient care in various outpatient locations throughout the area.
Job Responsibilities:- The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, interested in working full-time, and focused on excellent patient care.
- Provide care at the hospital with a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.
- Join a collaborative OB/GYN group consisting of six physicians and four certified nurse midwives.
- Engage in a balanced practice with a 50/50 split between obstetrics and gynecology.
- Manage a patient load of approximately 20 patients per day in clinic.
- Enjoy a 4-day work week with opportunity for exploration of the beautiful Colorado landscape on your day off.
- Participate in a call schedule of 1:5, with certified nurse midwives covering first call most nights.
- Utilize cutting-edge technology with access to 2 da Vinci XI robots and easy access to OR time.
- Work with an EMR system: Epic.
- Please note: Visa candidates and Locums candidates are not accepted for this position.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN (0-5 years post-residency).
- Colorado medical license (or willingness to obtain).
- Clean malpractice history is highly preferred.
- DEA certification (must be obtained prior to start).
- Permanent placement fee is applicable.
- Active Colorado medical license or the ability to obtain one.
- Board Certified or Eligible in OB/GYN.
- DEA certification prior to the start of employment.
