Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Maryland Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • Experience working in a skilled nursing facility required.
  • Experience with restorative care, transfers, and ambulation training preferred.
  • Ability to document thoroughly in electronic medical records required. Preferred experience with long-term care EMR systems.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
  • Shift Name: Days.
  • Shift Details: Days 0800-1630.
  • Work Days: Sunday through Saturday (per facility schedule covering seven days).
  • Guaranteed Hours: 38 hours per week (VMS indicated).
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks.
  • Onsite meal break: 30 minutes.
