Registered Nurse Job Details

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1570 - $1610
• Shift: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (06:45 – 19:15)
• Total Hours per Week: 36
• Unit: Outpatient Surgery Operating Room (Ambulatory OR)
• Patient Population: Pediatrics, Adults, Geriatrics
• Unit Features: 13 OR rooms, Epic charting (required), Pyxis, SBAR communication
• Scrub Color: Provided by facility
• Floating: Yes, within OR departments
• Call Requirements: Late coverage for surgical cases
• Weekend Shifts: No weekends required
• Holiday Coverage: Required if assignment includes major holidays
• Maximum RTO: 7 days (must be submitted with application)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or Compact state (required at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience (first-time travel nurses welcome)
• BLS certification (required)
• Experience with Epic electronic charting system (required)
• Ambulatory OR or outpatient surgery RN experience preferred
• Ability to float within OR departments
• Submit compliance documents and schedule labs within 48 hours of contract signing
• Two supervisory references (manager or above) highly preferred

Outpatient RN Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care for patients undergoing outpatient surgical procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Utilize Epic for accurate electronic charting and patient record management
• Assist with various surgical procedures including orthopedic, gynecological, ENT, and general surgeries
• Float to other OR departments as needed to support clinical operations
• Provide late coverage to ensure completion of all surgical cases
• Follow universal protocols, facility policies, specimen handling, and time-out procedures
• Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling, including major holidays if required
