An Oncology Radiation Physician working primarily in a hospital-based practice, providing radiation therapy consultations and treatment planning for adult and pediatric patients. Responsibilities include supervising radiation therapists, utilizing advanced treatment technologies such as IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, and managing complex treatment plans with imaging fusion techniques. The role requires expertise with equipment like Elekta Synergy and software systems including Arial/Eclipse and Epic EMR, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to protocols.
Schedule: M-F (8am-4:30pm)
Consults: occasional consults, Sunday

Practice Type: Hospital-based Practice (Office/Clinic 90%, Hospital 10%)
Caseload: 75% Adults, 15% Peds
Dosimetrists & Physicists: remote (centralized), and Radiation Therapists (2)
Locum will be required to supervise RTTs
Required Procedures: EBRT, Conventional/Conformal Therapy, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS
Treatment Planning: Conventional Treat Planning, Beam Shaping (MLC), IMRT, PET CT or MRI Image Fusion, EPI, COG protocols
Special Equipment:
Elekta Synergy - photon/electron treatments including 3D, IMRT, and VMAT; CT simulator in radiology
Computer System/Software: Arial/Eclipse
Primary EMR: Epic
