Johnston-Willis Hospital is a 292-bed facility offering acute care and a surgical facility that has served the Richmond and Central Virginia community since 1909. It is home to a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), a high-risk antepartum unit, private labor/delivery/recovery suites, and educational classes for new parents.

Southside Regional Medical Center , part of the Catholic Bon Secours system, is a 300-bed facility located on a 50-acre campus with nearly 400 physicians representing more than 40 specialties. It currently sees about 1,800 annual deliveries. The hospital serves the Richmond, VA area including the communities of Petersburg, Hopewell, Colonial Heights, Fort Lee and Chester.
