More details below.This PACE Program is seeking Primary care physicians for temporary coverage or fulltime positions in the Southern California Area. Physicians must like working with the elderly and have training or experience with geriatric patients. A fellowship in geriatrics is not required but prefer.Accepting board certified FP or IM with geriatric experienceDon't require fellowship in Geri but preferred or Geri ExperienceNo hospital credentialing so will be quick credentialing process. Beautiful space and facility, completely redone in 2013 when the program started.Schedule Flexible; Mon-Fri 8 -5No Weekends This will be an ongoing need until full time higher is recruitedLow Volume:Max per day per physician seeing 5-8 patients per day, generally seeing 5 patients per dayVolume typically with 2 physicians & mid-levels seeing 20-25 patients60-90 minutes for new patients 30-45 for follow upsSee patients as needed, open schedulingPatients age 55 and olderPrimary care coordinates care and referral to any other specialtiesThis program has an interdisciplinary team.
