- Full-time, permanent
- Provide medical care to pediatric patient Äôs ages 0-18 years old
- Examine children regularly to assess their growth and development
- Treat children who have minor illnesses, infections, injuries, acute and chronic health problems, and growth and development concerns
- Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, medication, reports, and examination results
- Prescribe or administer treatments, therapies, medications, vaccinations, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury in children
- Perform procedures within the provider Äôs scope of practice
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests to obtain information on medical condition and determine diagnosis
- Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients and parents or guardians
- Monitor patients' conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary
- Refer patient to medical specialist or other practitioner when necessary
- Maintain current and unrestricted licensures as required
- Plan and execute medical care programs to aid in the mental and physical growth and development of children and adolescents
- Provide health and wellness advice to patients and caregivers
- Direct and supervise patient care personnel as required
- Prepare government or organizational reports of birth, death, disease statistics, or medical status of individuals as required or directed Requirements
- Active and unrestricted California medical license
- Board Certified or Eligible in Pediatrics
- Internship and/or Residency completion as required
- Current and unrestricted DEA certificate
- Current CPR and BLS certification Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work without direct supervision and practice autonomously
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
