Key Job Details – CT Technologist Travel Position

• Location: Carthage, NY 13619 (Northern New York healthcare jobs)
• Setting: Hospital
• Assignment Length: 8 weeks (Start: 10/6/2025, End: 11/29/2025)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), with potential to float to days and rotating weekends/holidays
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,280 - $2,450
• Employment Type: Travel healthcare job

CT Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital setting
• CT certification and current ARRT credential required
• Current BLS certification
• X-Ray Technologist experience strongly preferred; candidates with both CT and X-Ray experience will operate both modalities
• Proficiency in CT, CT CTA imaging, post processing, IV contrast administration, and contraindicators
• Experience with Philips CT unit (64 slice or higher) preferred
• Experience operating portable X-ray units, C-arm, fluoroscopy exams, and sterile techniques
• Familiarity with CPSI and FUJI PACS systems
• COVID vaccine is NOT required
• Former staff must have a minimum 6-month break in employment before being considered for rehire

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT and X-Ray imaging procedures according to physician orders
• Administer IV contrast and monitor for contraindications
• Operate and maintain CT and X-Ray equipment, including portable units and C-arm
• Assist with fluoroscopy examinations and maintain sterile techniques
• Document procedures and patient information in CPSI and FUJI PACS systems
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver excellent patient care
• Adapt to schedule changes, including floating to day shifts and working rotating weekends/holidays
