Prillamans Crane and Rigging Inc. is hiring three experienced Riggers to join our Field Operations team. This is a physically demanding, full-time, on-site position requiring hands-on experience with rigging operations, crane assembly, millwright tasks, and machinery movement. Key Responsibilities
Safely rig loads for crane lifts and machinery relocation
Use chain falls, jacks, and rigging gear to lift and position heavy equipment
Determine center of gravity and calculate load weights for precise handling
Read and interpret lift plans, site permits, and rigging diagrams
Assist in building and erecting cranes on job sites
Support millwright operations and equipment installation tasks
Act as a signalperson during critical lifting operations
Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant worksite
Work closely with crane operators, site supervisors, and logistics personnel
Travel to project sites and work overtime or weekends as needed
Qualifications
NCCCO Rigger Level 1 – Required
NCCCO Signalperson – Required
NCCCO Rigger Level 2 – Preferred
Minimum 5 years of rigging experience, including machinery moving and crane assembly
Skilled with jacks, chain falls, and load balancing
Understanding of mechanical lifting concepts and center of gravity calculations
Ability to read and execute detailed lift plans and permits
OSHA 30 Certification – Required
High school diploma or GED
Must pass pre-employment drug screening and have no criminal record
Good driving record required
Must be physically fit and able to handle long working hours and demanding conditions
