Urology Physician Position Santa Rosa, California
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Urologist with specialized expertise in female urology and pelvic floor reconstruction to join our esteemed team at Providence Medical Group - Santa Rosa Urology. This is a permanent position offering an excellent opportunity for professional growth within a supportive and patient-centered environment.
Position Overview:
- Clinic Location: Conveniently situated across from the hospital, providing easy access for patients and staff.
- Focus Areas: Specialization in female urology and pelvic floor reconstruction procedures.
- Schedule: Full-time outpatient practice with shared call responsibilities.
- Call Expectations: Approximately 7-10 days per month, primarily beeper call. During weekday work hours (7:00 am to 5:00 pm), providers are onsite. After hours and on weekends, providers may be called back to the hospital approximately 3-5 times weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive urological care, emphasizing female urology and pelvic floor reconstruction.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
- Participate in clinic activities, consultations, and follow-ups.
- Engage in ongoing quality improvement and professional development initiatives.
- Maintain adherence to all clinical protocols and standards of care.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with active licensure to practice in California.
- Board certification or eligibility in Urology.
- Experience or specialized training in female urology and pelvic floor reconstructive procedures preferred.
- Candidates willing to pursue California medical licensure are encouraged to apply.
- Licensure must be obtained prior to employment.
