A health services network in New York City is currently seeking a licensedPsychiatrist for a promising Outpatient opportunity working with their Adult population.
About the Opportunity:- Schedule: Part or full-time

Responsibilities:The Adult Psychiatrist will:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments to evaluate the mental and emotional status of adult patients
- Diagnose mental health conditions and disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, anxiety disorders, and substance use disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans for each patient
- Prescribe and manage medications to help stabilize and improve the mental health of their patients
- Manage psychiatric crises and emergencies
- Prepare patients for discharge from the hospital by developing aftercare plans
- Educate patients and their families about the nature of the mental health condition, treatment options, and strategies for managing symptoms and preventing relapse
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient assessments, treatment plans, progress, and any changes in medications or interventions
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:- Licensed to practice in the State of New York
- Board Eligible / Certified inPsychiatry
- Previous experience working with the Adult population
