ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a Locum Tenens Cardiovascular Surgeon to provide 24-hour call coverage during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays for a facility in Upstate South Carolina. The role includes hospital rounding and performing cardiovascular surgeries as needed, with support from an established surgical team in a hospital setting.

• Coverage Dates:

  • November , 2025 (Thanksgiving weekend)

  • December , 2025 (Christmas weekend)

• Schedule: 24-hour call

• Call Schedule: To Be Announced

• Setting: Inpatient hospital rounding and surgical coverage as required

• EMR System: EPIC

Practice Setting:
Hospital-based with a focus on surgical and critical cardiac care

Primary Procedures Required:

• Aneurysm Repair

• Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)

• Heart Valve Replacement

Preferred Specialty:
Cardiothoracic surgery background strongly preferred

• Board Certification: Cardiovascular Surgery Required

• Fellowship: Completed fellowship training in Cardiovascular Surgery Required

• Licensure: Active South Carolina medical license Required no exceptions

• Certifications: ACLS Required

• NPDB Self-Query: Must be submitted at the time of presentation Required

• Background: Clean malpractice and disciplinary history Required for temp privileges
