American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and level 1 trauma and travel experience for a fast-paced acute care setting.
Responsibilities- Work in an acute care hospital with level 1 trauma designation
- Department consists of 8 CT treatment areas using Siemens equipment and Bracco contrast injectors
- Mixed patient population including pediatrics through geriatrics, with high acuity and a fast-paced environment
- Common procedures include CTAs, cardiac, perfusion imaging, and a variety of studies from the OR and ER
- 3x12 overnight shifts (1830-0700), rotating schedule covering Sunday, Monday, Saturday and Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday
- May float between main campus and stand-alone emergency campus as needed
- Uses Epic EMR and McKesson PACS; Epic experience preferred
- Must be comfortable working in a high acuity, busy environment and demonstrate flexibility in shifting priorities
- Candidates may not be currently employed (FT, PT, or PRN) with any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility
- RTO must be requested upfront and limited to 7 days or less per 13-week contract
- Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas; refusal may lead to contract termination
- Radiation badge provided
- Team-oriented environment seeking motivated self-starters
- May require floating to cover other modalities based on departmental needs
- Scrub policy and color will be discussed during onboarding
- Minimum of 2 years of CT experience required
- Level 1 trauma experience and travel experience required
- Active state or compact (NLC) license required if applicable
- Current BLS (AHA) and ARRT (R) required; ARRT (CT) preferred
- Skilled in venipuncture and able to perform both CT and X-ray preferred for overnight shifts
- Excellent prioritization, problem-solving, and customer service skills
- Must provide driver's license to verify 50-mile distance from facility
