Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a day shift Observation unit position, requiring an active AR or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in an Observation unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule from 07:00 to 19:00
• 13-week contract assignment
• Patient care in a monitored observation environment
• Blocked scheduling may be allowed based on facility need
• Up to 5 requested days off permitted but must be made up during the assignment
• Local candidates within 50 miles are eligible but subject to local contract terms
• Subcontractor staff within 50 miles can complete a maximum of 3 consecutive local contracts before requiring a 1-year break or transfer outside the 50-mile radius

Requirements

• Active AR or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of recent Observation or relevant specialty experience
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• No expiring professional certifications within 30 days of start unless renewal is documented
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs are not accepted
