Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a CVICU RN with at least two years of CVICU or open heart experience and current ACLS and BLS certifications for night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) of a hospital
- Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week (19:30-08:00)
- Every other weekend required
- Floating required within specialty, to sister units, and lower acuity units as needed
- Holiday coverage required as scheduled
- First-time travelers are considered if they meet experience requirements
- Must be comfortable floating to related units as needed
Requirements
- Active MD or compact RN license required
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required
- Minimum of two years of CVICU or open heart experience required
