Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room (ER) department. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in emergency care, particularly with adult patients. The RN will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in the ER setting.
Responsibilities- Provide emergency care to adult patients in a fast-paced environment.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Perform IV therapy including blood product administration and phlebotomy.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias.
- Participate in triage and adhere to isolation precautions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
- Active New York Single State RN license (NY is not Compact).
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting.
- Epic charting system experience is a must.
