At SSM Health, we are committed to delivering exceptional healthcare services. Our Southern Illinois Medical Group is actively seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our fast-paced Express Clinics in Mt. Vernon and Centralia IL on a PRN/Fill-In basis!
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of a nationally accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program.
- Must have two (2) years of NP or PA experience specifically in urgent care, occupational medicine or primary care.
- Current PA/NP licensure in the State of Illinois.
- Must be available to work at least one (1) shift per month with availability to cover on weekends.
Job Details:
- Urgent Care setting, x-ray and labs on-site!
- Facility Hours: Monday-Saturday, 7a-7p; Sunday 8a-2p.
- Self-schedule with other APPs.
- In-office procedures include suture & stable removal, giving stitches & removing stitches, minor wound care, braces & slings for fractures.
- Strong support staff including nurse triage.
- Eligible for overtime. Pay commensurate with experience!
